Identify the pressing
Photograph the cover, labels and markings in the runout. Compare the catalog number, country and other visible details with a matching release. Do not infer an exact edition from the cover alone.

Describe the condition
Inspect the record and sleeve separately. Note scratches, noise, seam splits and missing inserts. Say whether you listened to the record or inspected it visually.
Compare similar completed sales
Look for the same release in similar condition. Asking prices show what sellers hope to receive; completed sales give a different reference. Consider the date, currency, fees and shipping before drawing a conclusion.
Does an old record always have a high value?
No. Demand, the specific release, completeness and condition matter. Age alone does not establish a price.
Can I use an AI estimate as my asking price?
Treat it as a starting point to check. Confirm the release and compare relevant sales before choosing your own price.
